Ride the wave.

I was happy with my recent accomplishments at the 2016 Canadian Transplant Games and now I need to look forward at what's next. I'll be making sure that I set myself up for similar success at the 2017 World Transplant Games which will be held in Málaga, Spain in June. As it's s a bigger event, my preparation will need to mirror the jump in competition. I am currently looking into the best fit for a competitive masters swimming team in Toronto to start training with mid to late September.

On a more immediate front, I am in full gear in my effort to register 1,600 new organ donors by November 4. I've connected with a number of people who are interested in participating in the Donor Mosaic Project as GOAL ambassadors. Really exciting! With the support of a like minded community the project’s reach can be widened and the goal seems fully attainable. If you are reading this and would like to become an ambassador for this initiative (or find out what that means) please don't hesitate to call me or shoot and email. I’d be happy to hear from you.

Coming up, I have a couple of speaking engagements that will give me an opportunity to share my story and expand awareness for the cause. The goal is really to let people know how easy it is to become a registered donor and the huge difference that action can make in the lives of others.
